Spotless Terms of Business

1. Definitions

“We”, “Us”, “Our” – refers to Spotless Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning, a professional cleaning service provider.

“You”, “Client”, “Customer” – refers to the person or business requesting the cleaning services.

2. Scope of Work

We will carry out the cleaning services as agreed at the time of booking.

All work will be performed using industry-approved techniques, equipment, and eco-friendly products suitable for the items being cleaned.

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices quoted include labour, equipment, and cleaning solutions unless otherwise stated.

Payment is due in full on completion of work, unless alternative terms are agreed in writing prior to service.

We accept cash, bank transfers, or card payments (subject to availability).

4. Access & Preparation

The client is responsible for providing access to the property at the agreed time. Missed appointments due to lack of access may be subject to a call-out fee.

We ask that small, fragile, or valuable items are moved prior to our arrival. We reserve the right not to move large or delicate furniture.

Pets and children should be kept clear of the work area for safety and hygiene reasons.

5. Stains and Limitations

While we do our best to remove all stains, some may be permanent depending on the type, age, and previous treatments. We will always advise realistically before beginning.

We are not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing conditions, previous improper cleaning, or wear and tear.

6. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee of £50.

No-show appointments may be charged in full.

7. Liability

<4>We hold full public liability and treatment risk insurance.

While we take great care, we are not liable for incidental damage unless caused by proven negligence on our part.

We do not accept liability for shrinkage, colour run, or dye migration unless caused by improper handling.

8. Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with our service, please notify us within 48 hours of the job being completed. We will return to inspect and, where appropriate, re-clean the area free of charge.

9. Insurance & Accreditation

We are fully insured and members of the National Carpet Cleaners Association (NCCA).

Our team is trained and experienced in treating a wide range of fabrics and flooring.

10. Data Protection

Client data is held in accordance with UK GDPR legislation and will not be shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Business shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the jurisdiction of the relevant courts.
